Hiya folks,

Sorry I've been m.i.a. on most of these posts. You would think as bored as I am at work I would be the one on here more than anyone. Anyway, regarding some of the recent posts...

I will not be back in time for new years. I will be leaving for Europe on the 19th of December and getting back January 3rd. So I was wondering a couple thingy things. When is the cocktail party supposed to be this year? I would really really like to make it, and if it was before the 19th that would definitely be a possibility.

Eric - that totally blows about your surgery, but I've added a few movies to the list that I think you might enjoy watching. Vacancy is pretty dark, but I know your feelings on Kate Beckinsale, so I thought I'd recommend that too.

Anyway - I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine basically rocked a super duper lot.

Ok, without going and looking up the answer can you guys answer these two questions for me? We discussed it in my class today and I was curious what you guys think.

What percentage of the U.S. federal budget is spent on foreign aid?

Based on whatever you think this percentage is, do you think this is appropriate and if not, how much do you think we should be spending on this?

I know this is random...but I would like to see how smart educated people (you guys) answer this question.

7 days of Movies...

after surgery i am goin to have to spend at least 7 entire days in bed with my leg in some machine... while this indeed sucks, it provides a great opportunity to melt my brain with tv. i need a list of movies/television shows to watch... joe, this is your time to shine...hit me!

New Year's

Hey gang. Considering Eric's soon to be sedentary lifestyle, why don't you all come to my place for new year's eve. We can make a big dinner or go out nearby, then hang out all night. It's just a few crutch lengths from Eric's place and there's plenty of room for everyone to sleep without fear of getting whacked. Thoughts?

P.S.- Joe, will you be back in the country by new years?

*an air mattress - if anyone has one since my entire apartment is made out of concrete. We can totally have a slarty in my bed and/or futon, but just in case, air>concrete when it comes to sleeping surfaces.

RIDICULOUS!!

the one and only marge "whitewater! whitewater!" sietsema just informed me that almond joys are better than whoppers. granted, whoppers aren't amazingly delicious, but i would never ever put them above a nasty coconut treat. any thoughts?

sidenote to show marges craziness: she was just singing a song in a high pitched girly voice, "three little maids from school singing with girly glee!!!!"
